NAZA introduced the fun, fuel efficient New NAZA Forza to crowd of more than 300 at the TTDI Plaza on 17 December 2007.

Launched by Minister of Finance II, Y.B. Tan Sri Nor Mohamed Yakcop, the theme of the launch was definitely centered on the fun element with the launch car being green in colour. Even the colour of the car is given a fun name, Fusion. A spokesperson of the company said that green was chosen as the launch colour as it represents growth and youth. The car is targeted at the country’s youth who would be looking for a fuel efficient, fun car that fits in with their lifestyle. During the launch, elements that relate to youth were also used to highlight the youthful character of the car. Images that shout music, football, academics, skateboarding, and also hard work (image of a yuppie) which are close to the heart of our youth were everywhere around the launch location. Apart from youth, the company also sees potential for the Forza among those who have just started work and are looking for a car which is easy to buy and maintain. The Forza is NAZA’s answer to the impending fuel hikes which will definitely increase the cost of living.

Tan Sri Dato’ Seri Utama SM Nasimudin SM Amin, Chairman and CEO of the NAZA Group of Companies in his speech mentioned “We have made our 2 year service package and 3 year warranty standard for all Forza’s. This essentially means that the customer will have peace of mind motoring and the customer only needs to fill in petrol and drive for the first 2 years. The 3 year warranty further emphasizes our confidence and commitment in our own products.”

The Forza which replaces the Sutera comes with improvements to ensure a better ownership experience. The Forza features new front lamps that give the car a stronger and more distinctive frontal appearance. At the rear, the lights are larger and more visible to ensure greater safety. Due to the larger rear lights, the reverse lights are moved to the bumper. Being closer to the ground, the low set reverse lights provide a better spread of light while reversing. For a more youthful appearance, the sport rims are also new; featuring a smart 6 spoke design.

Inside, the car comes with a new Blaupunkt CD/MP3/radio set which when combined to the 6 speaker system, delivers better sound re-production than before. The instrument panel has also been revised to offer better clarity. The interior fabric and colours have been enhanced to provide a better look and feel with darker interior colour adding a hint of sportiness. Interior space has not been sacrificed in the new Forza. This is sure to delight buyers who love to travel with their friends or family.

The Forza is also big on safety and it comes with dual front air bags, laminated front windscreen and also side impact beams. This will surely add brownie points for the car from parents who are buying cars for college going children.

Being targeted at the youth market, the hatchback design is definitely a plus point. To add to the fun element of the car, it now comes with two new attractive colours, Atlantic and Gun Metal. For keen drivers, engineers have ensured that the car has key improvements to provide the keen driver an enjoyable time behind the wheel.

Available in 6 exciting colours, Fusion, Amber, Gun Metal, Atlantic, Onyx, and Satin, the Forza is expected to make a strong impact in it’s segment.
